- AAlexsanderHouston •4 reviews5.0Dined todaySteak 48 is the best restaurant in Texas! I’ve been there many times but this time was the best of all. Nancy, our server, was amazing and offered the best service ever. The food was perfect as usual and drinks just perfect.More infoSteak 48 - HoustonPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• River Oaks•4.9

- DDanielHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe really dug the vibe. The interior is really stylish. The only thing we thought that was lacking was our particular server’s service. When I requested a second cocktail and asked him to surprise me with something vodka based, he brought a “French 76”, made with vodka instead of gin. Notwithstanding whether or not such a drink exists vis a vis the known “French 75” drink, he should have known that I had JUST finished a French 75, in part because I had the same gin style glass on my table. This is not service I would expect from a Michelin level restaurant (I know this one did not get one, but maybe you are gunning for it), many of which me and my wife have been too, including multiple Three Star restaurants! The waiter should be more aware as being delivered such a drink might be thought of as being lazy or dismissive towards the diner. My wife and I are well prepared to pay large amounts for a top notch dinner as well, and we are more likely to do so when a restaurant succeeds in ALL categories.More infoThe Marigold ClubPrice: Very Expensive• French• Montrose•4.6
