Best Romantic Restaurants in East Louisville

We had an amazing experience! Despite running late for our reservation, the staff was incredibly understanding accommodating. When we unexpectedly added an extra guest, they went above and beyond to find a bigger table and still seated us on time. The hostess provided excellent customer service, making us feel welcome and valued. The entire experience with seamless, and we truly appreciated their kindness and efficiency. Highly recommend this restaurant for both the food and outstanding hospitality!

My husband and I had to celebrate Valentine’s Day on 2/17. We had never been to Steak and Bourbon. The ambiance was soothing and inviting. The service was THE best we’ve ever had. To top it off, we had the most delicious food we had ever had! I had the tender filet and he had the halibut! This restaurant is worth every penny! We might not frequent this restaurant monthly, but we will return on special occasions. We are both looking forward to the next meal!

Great experience and will definitely go again! The lobster bisque was delicious and a must order along with the shrimp scampi. If you love roasted garlic the shrimp scampi comes with a whole bulb of roasted garlic on top which was soooo good spread on the crusty bread that came with it. My husband got the mushroom Alfredo and it was so creamy and good. I got the roasted scallops with risotto, bacon, kale and lobster. I loved the scallops. They were cooked perfectly as well as the risotto. The sauce on the risotto was wonderful. I did not like the kale. It was smoky but almost had a Medicinal taste and I usually love kale, but I did not like the kale in this dish. We got the tiramisu for dessert. It was a good size as the two of us split it. It was just OK. We thought it was dense and dry with no coffee flavor. Our waiter was very attentive, very nice and outgoing. The overall atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful, low lighting and just very relaxing. 

My wife and I enjoyed Valentine's Day dinner at The Village Anchor and were seated in the covered patio area below. The food was great but a little pricey. French Onion Soup could have been hotter and we found a lack of saltiness to everything but not terrible. The wine was reasonable and they didn't try to upsell. The dessert was huge - really enjoyed that. Friendly staff top to bottom. I had trouble finding reservations for V-Day and this place was busy but not packed at all. The lighting in the covered porch area did not at all reflect a fine dining experience, though - which killed a bit of the ambiance despite the cute Valentine's decor. Overall a good experience and we'll return if I have an extra $200 but for that kind of money I know we could do better. I look forward to brunch as their menu promises a variety of great looking option.

First time dining…was an excellent experience! Grace provided wonderful, friendly service with a warm smile. Food was delicious! We enjoyed the Ribeye and the NY Strip. The Mac n cheese was good and the Asiago spinach was great! Even the salad was very good…crisp with bacon, egg, etc. The chocolate mousse cake was good but the strawberry shortcake and ice cream was delicious! Thank you Grace and crew for a wonderful experience!
