Best Romantic Restaurants in Savaneta

We booked AZAR blind, didn’t read too much on it and just saw it was close and had availability. WOW, to say we scored in an understatement…we were blown away. Starting with the Smoked Rum Old Fashioned…brought to the table under a dome filled with fragrant woodsmoke, this was a crafted cocktail that impressed across all the senses. We had 6 of the 11 apptz offered…all fabulous (but I am still thinking on how tender their octopus was). The mains were very generously sized and each had a custom tweak that made them unique to AZAR; fire grill pichana, branzino, the shrimp salad and an over-the-top cowboy cut steak that even our 19 yr old carnivore had to rally to finish. Desserts..the Black Forest Brownie and the Churros were killer. Our server, Maria, was a pro throughout..including with the wine pairing, she was great. Mgmt stopped by and checked in, always a nice touch and confirmed that AZAR is a top dining choice in Aruba

From the moment you walk into Madame Janette, you are transported into a garden oasis where the scents of spices and flowers fill your senses and prepare you for an experience you will remember forever. The quality of service and food is top caliber and Michelin level. The staff is attentive and super courteous. As I looked around, I noticed the staff greeting returning customers and greeting them with hugs and kisses. You didn’t see any less warmth for new customers. Which is such a nice experience because no one wants to feel left out.

Everything was great until we were charged $9 for water and $25 for sharing an entree, even though our tab was already well over $100. It’s probably the coolest restaurant we’ve ever been to but the excess charges on the bill had us leave on a bad note.

Once again Lina exceeded our expectations ! The special grouper ceviche was sublime and unforgettable. The tuna in the tiradito was so fresh. And the lobster risotto stock dense and rich with lots of lobster.

All 12 in our group had a perfect dinner. Fish was very fresh (unlike many restaurants here) and all the meals were delicious. I had lamb and it was amazing. It was nice that several items had 2 portion sizes so I was able to get an appropriate sized meal. In addition, their wine list was nice and had good pricing. Lastly the ambiance was amazing! Fun to have our feet in the sand, watch the sunset, and listen to soft music. By far the best restaurant over our 7 night stay in Aruba.
