Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Waldo

Just go ahead and get the chefs tasting menu. So much food. Excellent service. Then go back and get something different. Awesome place.

This was amazing! We got the testing menu to try all of our favorites from TV and it did NOT disappoint! Perfect 21st Birthday dinner for my daughter!

Pasta made in-house and ravioli outstanding. Wagu burger, served on Thursdays only, was generous portion with in-house made ketchup and fries.

Everything was as always fabulous. The only improvements that I could suggest would be for the server to ask if you’d been there before before the thoughtful description of the menu . Also and this will be increasingly more important as our society continues to to age . Add more handicapped spaces and mark the pavement . Speaking for mature drivers we tend to stay within the lines if they exist .

The owner and chef, Amante, has done a phenomenal job in curating this menu which is off the charts. They employ the Japanese practice of dry aging fish, which makes the dishes, especially the sushi quite delicious. The bartender is world class and their cocktails are made with much care and attention to detail. The ambience makes you feel you’re somewhere in New York or San Francisco. I believe there’s a good value for the money which all in ranges from $75-$100 a head. I plan to return here quite often as it is one of the best dining experiences in Kansas City.
