Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Madeira

Our server was great - he made sure the place was set up well for our kids. We were delighted by the very strong Cuban coffee, great menu options for the kids, and lovely scenic view of the river. The decor was calming and fun to look at after a day at the aquarium. We will be back.

Alfios was suggested to us by a family member and we’re so glad we finally went. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food was spectacular. Our waiter made us feel special and explained everything thoroughly.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous pre-Christmas date night at The Aperature. I have been wanting to dine here since they opened but hadn’t yet been able to make it in. Our food was fabulous and our server, Sam, was perfectly friendly and attentive. In fact the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed sharing the small plates. We had the garlic & eggplant hummus, the sweet potato with feta, the kale pesto spaghetti, and the ribeye. Literally every single bite was delicious. We split the toffee pudding for dessert. We felt the food quality was as good or better than another local small plates restaurant we visited this time last year and The Aperature bill was HALF of what it was at the other place.
