- MMaricelSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined todayWalking into Burrell was like a time warp back into the 70s. It felt like we walked into someone’s grandma’s house, from the picture on the wall, the furniture, the vintage corelle plates used to serve food—it was warm and inviting. The food was so delicious. Every dish we had had so much flavor and it was comforting, as if someone’s grandma or mom cooked for us. We did the family meal and it was worth the $75 it cost for the 4 course meal. I will be thinking about this meal until I can return!More infoBurdellPrice: Very Expensive• Soul food• Oakland•4.5

- GGeorgeSan Francisco Bay Area •28 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe very best value for a tasting menu style restaurant. Absolutely delicious courses, great adventurous wine list (with a great sommelier), terrific cocktails, excellent service, in a comfortable, non-stuffy, non-pretentious setting. It gets a little loud as time goes by (especially at a table for our party of 6), but not impossibly so.More infoMagoPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Latin• Oakland•4.8
- AAmitavaSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024I went to Bardo Lounge & Supper Club on 27th December with my family. There were 5 of us. We were not celebrating any occasion. In one simple word, our impression was that the food was outstanding! Starting from the first course, the Pickled Seasonal Veg, Apple & Parsnip soup, the Fall Salad and the main entre, we devoured the food. Four out of five of us had the 6 oz, Bardo Burger, which was delicious. Incidentally, we noticed only one dish based on fish, with hardly any sea food in the menu! The service was good! All in all, this was a restaurant where we will go again and again with friends and family!More infoBardo Lounge & Supper ClubPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Oakland•4.8
