We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

Trinity reopened in October 2015 with the same ethos, culture and team whilst recreating a new and refreshing backdrop - retaining its sophistication and remaining a restaurant of significance in Clapham. An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 40 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink. Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting. The kitchen presents a four course a la carte menu for a set price of £70 for lunch and £120 for dinner. The wine list continues to offer great value with the Chef's Cellar List (just add VAT and corkage), increasing both our quantity and quality and a overall extension to the main wine list of up to 400 bins now on display in the feature wine cellar on the ground floor.

2024: awarded 2 Michelin stars!Trivet derives from the age-old cooking utensil - an iron tripod placed over fire to support a cooking pot or kettle - reflecting the warmth and balance which forms Head Chef Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal’s values for the restaurant, as well as their working relationship. From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. The menu features their explorations of ingredients, dishes and drinks from around the world, inspired by the culinary history and diversity around us. The wine list is set out chronologically, following the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producers to the New World, as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey. As well as the welcoming main dining room, Trivet has a terrace, wine bar and private dining space. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

I recently dined solo at Blacklock Canary Wharf, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I started with a delicious mocktail ,followed by a perfectly cooked fillet, tender and juicy at medium doneness. The sweet potatoes and beets with goats cured were absolutely outstanding. To finish, the bread and butter pudding with custard was the perfect indulgence. An all-around amazing meal with exceptional service.

Roast has a great internal set up, above the Borough market and have decorated the space well. It’s light with tall ceilings so feels open & expansive. Food was good quality, pricier than I remembered but worth it and I enjoyed the pork belly, cauliflower, creamed spinach and crumble. Servings were generous and service attentive. I’d recommend & will come again.

I was torn between visiting Joia and 2 other restaurants, and I'm glad I picked Joia (again)! I had my mother over during the festivities and wanted to treat her to a nice meal and experience. And Joia didn't disappoint! Actually, it went beyond my, our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance, the warm welcome, and the prompt (but not too invasive) approach were fantastic! But the winners were our server Natasha (with her attentive service) and the receptionist Sifo (I hope I spelled his name correctly) with his charm and knowledge of the power station history. He even took us for a quick tour of the upstairs pool and rooftop bar despite the snow and freezing conditions. I couldn't have asked for more, and I'll certainly recommend it to others and def come back again! Thank you Joia!! It was a truly joy-FULL experience!
