- MMauraChicago / Illinois •37 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe used to go to Roy’s in Maui every year on our arrival night, and last year when we went to Honolulu for the first time, we tried Roy’s in Waikiki. It was great! Last night, we went back ( on our arrival night) and had an excellent meal. Our server Joshua was exceptional. We enjoyed talking to him, and he helped us decide on the delicious tiger prawns with crab ravioli. It went beautifully with an Aperture Sauvignon Blanc. He also brought out a lovely hamachi starter for us. We always love the excellent canoe sampler for two as a starter, so we also had that. The chocolate soufflé was amazing for dessert! Several other team members stopped by, including a woman who gave us great ideas for some things to do in Honolulu that not all tourists would know about. It was a perfect way to start our visit—great food, wine, and Hawaiian hospitality. Mahalo, Roy’s!More infoRoy's WaikikiPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Waikiki•4.6
- AALLYSONHawaii •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a private room for our office Holiday dinner. There were 9 of us and we fit perfectly in the back room. Our server Loreal was outstanding! She was so attentive and checked on us often. 4 of us ordered Tomahawks which ended up smoking the room but there is a back door we opened for vent and the staff brought a portable fan to blow the smoke out. We lived our dinners and will be back!More infoAloha SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Waikiki•4.6

The food was on point and delicious. The Broccoli Bisque and Miso Cod were the table favorites, however, everything was delicious and the desserts, oh my! sinfully tasty. The staff was attentive, and even being served by the manager on duty, who also checked on us here and there. Mahalo to Managers, Kaulana & Ron, Server Matt & his team, and of course, Chef Tim. 5+ stars! Highly recommend! We will be back for sure!More infoBasalt Restaurant @ Dukes Lane Market and EateryPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Waikiki•4.6
