Just as in Italy where the food is genuine and locally sourced, you'll find the same at Intero with farm-to-table Italian cuisine. At its core, the concept behind Italian cooking stems from necessity and gratitude for regionally available ingredients. Intero, translating to “whole’’ in Italian, embraces this concept utilizing local ingredients from their entirety, paired with traditional Italian techniques and cooking sensibilities. This naturally sustainable approach allows for innovative, yet familiar dishes that highlight the seasonal availability of what’s grown and raised in Texas. Additionally, Intero provides an authentic nod to the sweet side of Italy offering specialty house-made artisan chocolates (including truffles, barks, and sipping chocolate) along with other traditional Italian desserts in classic, seasonal and unique flavors. Enjoy various Amari, select wines and craft cocktails indoors or out, set in Intero's modern casual atmosphere.

South Texas Ice House, "Texas Cuisine" Products from the Texas Gulf to the Texas Hill Country."The huge snake logo on the outside of an otherwise nondescript building -- created by Bob "Daddy-O" Wade, best known for the oversize boots that front San Antonio's North Star Mall -- is your first hint that this place might be a bit, well, different. Inside, cowboy kitsch, 1950s diner decor, and Mexican folk art mingle, as do workers from the nearby county offices, local movers and shakers, and anyone else looking for terrific food that, like the decor, defies easy categorization.Call it South Texas gourmet. You can really taste the chipotle chilies in the tartar sauce that comes with some of the best crispy oysters this side of the Mason-Dixon Line, and the Gulf fish tacos are gussied up with chili lime aioli and Tabasco jalapeño onions. You get the idea -- lots of spicy dishes."

Something about Hillside Farmacy, weekend brunches, patio dinners, and cocktails just make you feel better. Perhaps that’s due to its historical landmark location in the lovingly renovated 1950s Hillside Drugstore. Or perhaps it’s the fresh, carefully selected seasonal food that comes from local farms and onto your plate is just good medicine. Weekend brunches are WALK-IN only.💚 Hillside Farmacy

Overall the food was great. Focaccia, Carpaccio, Grilled Redfish, and Bucatini were all really good and honestly a good value given the portion size and quality. We also had an angel hair pasta that was the evening's special that was overcooked and gummy, just a flat out miss in my opinion, but other than that we were pleased with our experience. We were there to celebrate my partner's birthday, and while they didn't have any dessert options that worked for her, they were very accommodating and comped us an after dinner Amaro. I'd like to go back for a more casual dinner because of the value for the quality ingredients and service.
