Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Sloans Lake

Hey Kiddo does a fantastic and playful job of elevating Asian fusion food with interesting flavor profiles and good contrasts in dishes (hot and cold, crispy and soft, etc.). The dishes were creative, the staff extremely kind and humorous, and the food tasted amazing. It is a strong recommendation to anyone and I will certainly be going back.

Our server was wonderful and very helpful. The food was unique and tasted great. We had the meatball and tamale appetizer. Both tasted great and a good combination together. Entrees were steak and venison, maybe steaks were a tad undercooked but they were delicious. Intimate and nice place.

What an amazing restaurant! We came in with the party of eight and the entire process could not have been better. Our server was stellar, absolutely perfect in every way. She was patient, kind, fast and courteous, even with three kids under 12. We had such a great night thanks to her and Thirsty Lion!

Everyone we interacted with, host, bartender, and servers were amazing. As was the food. We were celebrating my oldest son’s 21st birthday and you made it very special for him. Joking about his temporary license, complimentary champagne and Tiramisu, we couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you. We will be back soon.

This might just be my favorite restaurant in Denver. The basement is one of the coolest spots we have ever dined—such a cool vibe. The pasta is out of this world, the wine selection is fantastic, and the service is top notch. Can’t say enough good things!
