Koshō Restaurant at The Barlow is a modern Japanese and sushi restaurant in Sebastopol with a progressive focus on food, local ingredients, and sustainability. We utilize local purveyors for fresh produce and meats as well as national and international providers for fresh seafood and sushi grade fish. Koshō derives its moniker from the condiment of the same name, Yuzu Koshō.     My sister and I originally planned to dine elsewhere, but we are so happy we ended up at Jackson’s instead! The meal was superb and the service was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and can’t wait to return and try other menu items. This time we had the chicken piccata meatballs, squash shareable, kale salad, prosciutto and pear pizza, and beignets. All were delicious!

    Just go. There is magic in everything here. i'm a professionally trained chef (in a past life) snd i'm picky so to say the food is excellent is an understatement. Service is so warm & attentive too. our christmas eve with my family (difficult mom with dementia AND a 6 year old) was made extremely special because of their love for the business which they treat like a gift.

    My girlfriend and I went here on a date and had wonderful experience. The atmosphere, food, and service were all top notch. Easily one of the best sushi spots that I've been to. Will definitely be back.
