- LLauraSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoTrue Italian cuisine on this menu. Mix between classic and innovative dishes like the beef carpaccio with avocado and filet mignon with gorgonzola gnocchi. Price value is just right for the food, service, and ambiance. Ask to sit in the wine cellar for a nice group dinner, like we did with our executive team. It was last minute dinner and super special.More infoZingari Ristorante + Jazz BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown / Union Square•3.9
- TThomasChicago / Illinois •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoStepping into Bix is like stepping into a jazz club in New Orleans 50 years ago. The room has an upper balcony around the sides, and the whole place is beautifully decorated, with a huge mural above the classic old-style bar. Service was prompt, friendly, and humorous. They made me a fine Vesper. There was a warm roll with butter at our plates, and then an amuse bouche came shortly after. My half-dozen oysters were sweet and fresh. The lobster pasta had plenty of large chunks of lobster and was delicious. The poached pear dessert came with a big dollop of whipped cream on the side. There was a jazz piano trio playing classics, and even though we were only about 20 feet away, we could talk above the music (but it was good enough to just sit back and listen to). All in all, this was a great experience. It's not cheap, but not insane either. I will definitely be back.More infoBIXPrice: Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7
- JJackieSacramento / Sacramento Valley •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI loved it ! I celebrated my birthday with my parents Of course! Dining at Mastro’s was an exquisite experience from start to finish. I indulged in the 12oz fillet, which was flawlessly cooked to a tender perfection, exuding rich, savory flavors. The mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy, while the mac & cheese was delicious. & of course I treated myself to the butter cake—a decadent masterpiece that was perfectly moist and delicately sweet. The service was impeccable, with attentive and courteous staff ensuring a seamless dining experience. Mastro’s delivers culinary excellence in an elegant setting, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit.More infoMastro's Steakhouse - San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown / Union Square•4.5

- BBVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •134 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024We ordered drinks, which came promptly and were good. Both of us had jambalaya. It was quite tasty. The show started somewhat late, so we had time for another round of drinks. Once the show started, and during and after the show, service was less available. It took us a bit of time to get our check, but we were able to chat with the performers, so it was fun. The parking discount at the Mason-Ellis garage worked out well. We highly recommend Biscuits and Blues for dinner and a show! We'll definitely be back.More infoBiscuits and BluesPrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown / Union Square•4.7
