Best Live Music Restaurants in Penns Grove

What a great dinner. I brought 3 guests that had never experienced DiPaolo's and they loved it. The food was fabulous as usual. Presentation was on point. We all enjoyed our time together and dinner.

We knew Christmas Day dinner at Sullivan’s Steakhouse would be jamming as they were the only fine dining establishment around open all day. When we arrived at 1PM it was already 3/4s full. We were seated in the elevated section in the back where the private room is located although everything was open to accommodate all their guests. Malik was our head server and did an outstanding job in a stressed situation due to the large crowd with service assistance from Hunter and Brian. The old fashioned prepared by CJ was outstanding. We each had a shrimp cocktail (disappointing as these were NOT fine steakhouse quality - these were wet and long in the tooth), split a tasty Caesar salad. For our main course, we split a filet mignon on the bone, twin lobster tails, mashed potatoes (iced cold upon arrival & eventually removed from bill) and asparagus. Overall, a delightful meal. For a major holiday, they did a great job handling everything. We enjoyed the experience very much and will be back.

This is a spot that I've been covering a visit to fire a long time and it didn't disappoint. The cocktails had a nice punch but didn't bowl you over with the distinct burn. The seafood tower was fresh and paired with the most amazing sauces. The steaks were so tender, I barely needed a knife and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes were so light but flavorful. Then the creme brulèe was prepared with such thought that every bite was crisp and accompanied with a silky cream. Paired with the latte, this was a prefect meal in a beautifully curated atmosphere with the most charismatic and timely service provided by our server, Teddy. This is the perfect venue for a date night or big event, don't miss out on Tonic!

Such a cute little restaurant. Lots of character. Food was great, very fresh and the presentation was spot on. If you can't make up your mind, go for the Salmon or Grilled Cheese and Coleslaw. Very unusual menu items, especially the large number of natural teas. We were upstairs with a group, and the ambience was very eclectic. First place I've been to in awhile where I could hear the people across the table from me, and not just the person sitting next to me. We will definitely be going again.

We started with the Small plates of Avocado and then the Salmon. The Avocado dish was divine...perfectly warm with tantalizing flavors beneath it. The salmon was really good but we weren't fans of the "crisp" that comes with it which is made from the skin...too fishy for our taste. That's a personal preference. I had the burger and my wife the Cacio e Pepe. Both were also excellent.
