Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in College Area

Top tier experience! I made a reservation via OpenTable to celebrate an anniversary. We were seated fairly quickly and our table was decorated with a Happy Anniversary card. The waiter was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable about the menu. For our app, we opted for the crab cakes with red bell pepper sauce. The crab is the star of this appetizer--no overbreading or miscellaneous ingredients to fill the crab cake up. Plain, simple, and delicious. Also, the complimentary dinner rolls came with a whipped smoked cheddar spread and champagne Brie. Both had the softest, velvet-like texture. For entree and sides, my partner and I shared the 35oz tomahawk, the roasted sweet potatoes, and lobster Mac n cheese. Probably one of the best steaks I've eaten due to cut and preparation. Simple ingredients with bold flavor and great technique. The lobster Mac was so good and the roasted sweet potatoes had great flavor profiles. We were too full for dessert, so our waiter gave us complimentary champagne and chocolate truffles. Very pleased with the whole experience. Thank you for a great night to celebrate an anniversary!

Cool little speakeasy. We didn’t know it was hidden and enjoyed finding it and the entrance. Drinks were unique craft tiki. We arrived after the kitchen was closed so didn’t eat. They have a hard midnight close, and we were reminded of the count down several times. Super small, so reservations strongly recommended. Would recommend and would go again!

Absolutely Beautiful for Christmas Eve dinner!! Decorations were gorgeous, ambiance was intimate, festive, warm, cheerful. Food was delicious loved grilled oysters, bruschetta, fried short rib balls, steak was yummmy!! Drinks were great, and service was on point! Beautiful experience thank You La La!! Love True Food! We visit usually every 3 weeks & different locations. The FV and UTC locations are the best. Espresso martinis and Ancient Grain bowls are our favorites. We also love the street tacos and charred califlowwr for appetizers.
