Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Anderson Township

2 things I ordered soup, salad and burger.................all came out at same time.....I brought to owners' attention and she said she would address it with her team. Soup was just warm when it came out, let server know and owner apologized and took soup of our check (I did not ask for this it was volunteered) Overall we enjoyed our meal, was good to see it was busy. We will go back. These were minor issues and were well addressed by the owner. We like this place and recommend it.

This hotel has been my family’s favorite downtown spot for decades! It’s gorgeous, unique, lively, and just never like anything else in town. With such raves, we’d never had a sit down dinner there. The food was delicious and service terrific. With it being such a tony spot, I was delightfully surprised that the menu items were so reasonably priced! My delicious salmon dinner was about $24. That’s very competitive with any place one could go. Another thing this treasure gets uniquely right is the atmosphere. Maybe it’s the noise-reducing mammoth, art deco booths, or the gorgeous carpet, but it always seems lively without being too loud. You can have a conversation without yelling. And at 1931, you dine and still get to hear the live piano or trio. There’s a reason this place has been popular for nearly a hundred years!!! It’s just the best. You MUST go sometime!!

We were late for our reservation, so I called to apologize. They were so gracious and accommodating. The gentleman on the phone said come on in and if we cannot get you a table we will save you seats at the bar, he assured me the bar was very comfortable. We want and he apologized there were no tables but had a set up at the bar ready. Very nice to be treated with kindness.

My steak was cooked to perfection paired with a beautiful glass of wine! Servers were polite and clearly determined to make sure we had an amazing night.

The food and drinks were delicious! It is super close to the Aronoff so it was the perfect place to go before seeing a show. It was not super crowded which was perfect! I will definitely be coming back. I got the Chicken and Waffles which were amazing. Also they have a great selection of bourbon and a bourbon espresso martini which was amazing
