Haven’t had a waiter as professional as Kev in a long time, just the right balance of caring/checking on us and allowing us uninterrupted conversation. The back waiters were equally as competent and I’m sure they had a good teacher. We had a lovely, lovely night! It was our first time dining ant Eddie V’s and we were a table/family of 4. We will absolutely return! . . . and the wedge salad was delicious too!More infoEddie V's - La JollaPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• La Jolla•4.9

The food was artful and tasted amazing, ambiance was spectacular and the service was off the charts great! Our server was Kara and she explained the difference between all the teas listed on the menu so well, I wanted all of them! She even had a great suggestion about how to experience the three-course serving which I had never heard in all my many years of attending Holiday Tea (mostly at the Grand Del Mar). Kara's service as the proverbial 'cherry on the cake' for Holiday Tea service!More infoLobby Lounge at Fairmont Grand Del MarPrice: Moderate• Californian• Carmel Valley•4.3
- DDorisSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe fresh Ahi tuna was a bit drowned in mayo. I could sort of taste the freshness and subtle flavor but it was a shame to drown it in ingredients that should be carefully measured. The service was amazing! The drone of military jets was unexpected and startling.More infoThe Grill at The Lodge at Torrey PinesPrice: Moderate• American• La Jolla•4.6
