Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in New Hope

Thank you to everyone Especially Ally,Melissa, master chief's, and the gentlemen who fixed our tv wires (you rock)!! Everyone at Barley Sheaf Inn was extremely kind and very personable, easy to talk with, and making our stay wonderful. It was a pleasure meeting everyone. Our first time stay here was way above what we expected. If you are debating about this place, you won't be disappointed. 🥂🍾

We enjoyed our first meal at Logan Inn for their Valentine’s Day price fixe dinner. We are recent transplants from Westchester County NY and we felt that the restaurant has a NYC vibe to it. We also enjoyed the jazz trio playing at the bar and will plan to come back for the music. The food and drinks were excellent and we look forward to more dining experiences at the restaurant in the future.

We made a dinner reservation for Valentine's Day and was so glad we picked this newly opened restaurant. It definitely is a special occasion place with a lovely atmosphere in a 1830's restored barn on the grounds of the Woolverton Inn. The food was fantastic. My appetizer, a Yukon Gold Potato Soup with tidbits of Maine Lobster, was to die for. (I would like to have taken a quart or two home with me.) My husband had the special appetizer of the night which was a duck leg with puffed pastry and a cherry gastrique sauce and appleslaw. Heavenly. (We hope this becomes a permanent offering on the menu.) For entrees, I had the beef braised short rib, the best I've ever had anywhere. And my husband had the dry-aged ribeye steak with a special (secret) sauce. Desserts were Chocolate Mousse and Apple Crumble with vanilla ice cream. Yum! Every moment of this dining experience was sheer perfection, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant and were warmly welcomed by the staff, to someone offering to hang our coats so we didn't have to take them to our table, to the owner introducing himself and taking a moment to chat with us before dinner, to our server who was professional, personable and delightful. The wood burning fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere. But of course our highest compliments go to the incredibly talented chef! The restaurant is BYOB, so we brought two bottles of wine (white and red) to compliment our various dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant. It certainly is a wonderful new addition to the Stockton/New Hope/Lambertville dining scene. And to be honest, we love dining out, and we haven't found any restaurant in the area that is of this caliber.

Enjoyed the Valentine tasting menu & pairing. Food was fresh, nicely plated, flavorful and really good. Pairings were well matched. Server was knowledgeable & entire service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

My husband and I decided to give All You Can Eat Crab Legs night a try, we are glad we did! We started with the stuffed mushrooms and they were delicious, our sweet waitress, Donna, even brought us some extra bread to soak up all of the garlicky buttery goodness. The crab legs were served with old bay fries and corn on the cob, the crab legs were a great size and we were checked up on to make sure we had what we needed and to put in orders for new batches frequently. We ended the night with coffees and bread pudding, everything was delightful and Donna did a wonderful job making sure we felt cared for. We will absolutely be back and recommend to all!
