Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Montrose

Our family had the most amazing, Thanksgiving at The Arbour. Fantastic food, ambiance & service. Thank you for making it so special.

We had a wonderful experience on Thanksgiving at The Raymond last year, but things were much more uneven this year. Food that was supposed to be hot was, at best, warm, turkey dry, no plates to put dinner rolls & not enough butter for five people, no serving spoons with side dishes, service genial but not attentive (kept having to ask for water refills, the one beer order at the table wasn't delivered, had to request salt and pepper). I realize that Thanksgiving is a busy day for any restaurant, but if things are that pressed, then preload some things -- put a carafe of water on the table so people can serve themselves, put salt & pepper on all tables, don't serve rolls until there are plates on the table, etc. Disappointing given the price.

We went to the Tam for our annual early Thanksgiving dinner. The food was excellent, as always. The service was great at the beginning: once we received our food, it took a while for our server to return to check on us or refill our water glasses. Otherwise, it was a great meal.

Service was great and the food was excellent. The music was very loud (no doubt left over from the opening staff), but the server was happy to turn it down upon request. They have no decaf coffee--no drip, no Americano... Highly recommended for breakfast or brunch.

The staff is attentive, the food quality is very good, and the portion generous.
