Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Meatpacking District

Excellent place to unwind with a great cigar and a high end drink. Excellent wait staff and very accommodating even though we showed up in travel clothes. Great place we will be back

The place is nice. I guess the make you pay for the view. The service is average. The menu is lack diversity. I ordered steak with broccoli. They brought it with fries. I like their coktails.

I booked of the teardrop igloos. It was an amazing experience. The menu was small but there waygu beef sliders were delicious and I love how we were able to make our own Smores. Highly recommend this place. The views were stunning

Excellent as ever. I have been going to La Ripaille for more than 20 years and it never disappoints, especially in the holiday time. It's a West Village legend for a reason: apart from the amazing food, the staff is always warm and inviting, and that has no doubt a lot to do with Alain, who has been the captain of this gem of a ship for decades. Word is its days are numbered and I will be sad to see it go. Its continued presence in an ever-changing NY was, and for now, is a comfort.

They were busy, I mean frenetically busy being one of the few places open for Christmas dinner in NYC. Understandably, we were seated at 7:00 for a 6:30 reservation for party of 6. Once seated, we were attended to promptly but never rushed. Waiter, Genci (?) was knowledgeable and guided us when we had questions. Both the rib eye and filet mignon were cooked to perfection. One of the best steaks we had especially for serving such a large crowd. Meal was truly memorable and nice finish to the day.
