- DDavevipDenver / Colorado •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe love going to Shanahan’s Steak House. Yes, it’s expensive and Yes, it’s absolutely worth it. Everything is first-class from the moment the valet greets you. The staff is very friendly and VERY customer focused. The quality and presentation of the food is unmatched by any steak house I have ever dined at - especially the quality of the meat! Outstanding. The steaks and chops are incredible and consistently prepared to my liking, as are the seafood items. The apps and sides are likewise terrific (the lobster Mac and Cheese is one of my favorites). The wine selection is extensive.More infoShanahan's SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Tech Center / Greenwood Village•4.9

- EErinLas Vegas •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI came to The Fort to celebrate my boyfriend and I's anniversary and wow what a unique exterior that matched the name of the restaurant so well! Our server Adam was so sweet and had the best recommendations as it was our first time there. We started off with the Historian Platter, which had a great assortment of their popular appetizers. It was a great value to try a little bit of everything, and I did enjoy everything except the peanut butter stuffed jalapeños mostly because they were chilled, but the flavor was delish! The salad was divine with the chipotle honey dressing, super fresh and don't even get me started on the pumpkin muffins that come on the side! For my main course I had the duck which was so tender and flavorful, however I wasn't a big fan of the wild rice. We saved room for dessert to do their crème brule, so so delicious all in all an amazing experience all the way through. Thank you to our server Adam for making our anniversary so special!More infoThe FortPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Morrison•4.6
- KKaralynnSeattle / Eastern Washington •8 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024Went here 2x when in Denver this fall. For a tavern, the food was extra good. For lunch, the Caesar salad was among the best I've ever had, and the shrimp salad sandwich with tarragon was excellent. For dinner, for vegetarians they had a tofu steak with potatoes and vegetables that was also top notch. Drinks were good too. Service was attentive and friendly without being bothersome. And its location in the spectacular Brown Palace hotel can't be beat.More infoShip TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown / LoDo•4.1
