Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Buffalo Grove

Excellent food, really great. We had the steak Perry’s and the filet both cooked perfectly. Kinda dark, hard to read the menu and slightly loud, but we are both north of 60. Service was polite and attentive. Interesting observation, I ordered a glass of wine, there are 2 options and prices, the waitress didn’t clarify or ask which I wanted, she just brought the larger more expensive size. Expensive, just under $300 including tip for 2 people, 1 lobster bisque (which was excellent) 1 wedge salad, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 2 glasses of wine. The food and service was excellent, kinda pricey but we will be back.

The cut, flavor, temperature and seasoning were the best I’ve ever had at Rosebud tonight. Two skirt steak that definitely outshined prior visits to Morton’s, Gibson’s and RPM. The meal started with the crowd pleasing chopped salad. Loaded with cubed vegetables. We ended with delish banana cream pie. Thank you for the spectacular meal tonight!

It was a lovely evening with my Husband and adult goddaughter. We picked a good restaurant to celebrate Christmas. We were seated immediately with a reservation at 5:00. Having the smaller menu for the Christmas Holiday was a very good idea. You still had many choices and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner, with a cocktail to start and a delicious dessert. It was a good choice and never felt like we were being rushed. Glad we chose Palm Court Restaurant for our Christmas Dinner.

The receipts do not list the name of the employees "Bar B & Banquet #4" but going off memory the bartender was Sonya? I didn't get her name but overheard an employee calling her. Anyways, service all around was fantastic. I do not remember my servers name. Everyone was very attentive while not being obtrusive. The entire team having to work on Christmas so they can give me and my family a wonderful experience means a lot. Just wanted to say thank you for all you do and we are looking forward to a visit in the near future!

The service and food and drink is always excellent! We love this place and always go there on Xmas Eve. They do a masterful job seating a packed house. This year we were put in the back room where the ambiance is a little less cheerful as the rest of the restaurant. But we will be back!
