Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Sayreville

By far my family’s favorite “Family Style “ restaurant. The food was 5 star and every other aspect of Nonna’s was close behind!

Great food and ambience. Scallops appetizer was amazing and great fusion with cauliflower purée and toasted nuts and raisins. Pasta with wagyu sauce was amazing and coffee rubbed pork was off the hook! Service was impeccable. Only thing to improve is bread for table should be crusty peasant bread not soft Italian bread. Best espresso martini ever!

Great food... very busy which is why the service was a little slow.. the noise level is ridiculous. Kids screaming and parents doing nothing! With that said, I still love the food and will return.

Excellent service by Melvin. We were intrigued by some of the specials but find hard to deviate from the date night menu, which is an excellent value with a lot of choices. We shared the honey crisp salad to start. This is split in the kitchen and that makes a difference. The half portion is large with the cheese and pecans is wonderful. We also ordered the calamari, which is delicious but took most of it home as the portion is huge. Entrees were the king salmon, which was expertly prepared, and the filet mignon. There is an up charge but again the portion is large and also came home! We shared the apple tart for dessert which came with ice cream but took the other home. So many different tastes…a really nice evening.
