- KKarenPhiladelphia County •9 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoStaying at West and Main.. so thought we would check out this place within the hotel. The environment is very soothing and relaxing. We were seated by a window which was even better. Our cocktails were amazing. I had the braised beef ribs which was probably the best meal I’ve ever had in the past 10 years! The meat fell apart in my mouth. The taste was amazing. My husband had grilled oysters and the mushroom soup which was also one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Our waitress was sweet and kind and I would definitely recommend having this experience. Yes it’s a high-end restaurant and the prices are a little higher than normal but for the experience and the quality of food, it’s totally worth it.More infoHook and Ladder Sky Bar & KitchenPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Conshohocken•4.2

- TTerraNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025This has been one of the more enjoyable outings I’ve had in a while. The service staff is exceptionally nice. They were accommodating, helpful, and so kind. We were running a few minutes so I called and let them know- they were super understanding and told us to get there when we could but mostly to get there safely. The table next to us that the previous couple had just left and I asked if we could move over, that wasn’t a problem. We had ordered some happy hour items and took our time ordering and there was no pressure to get everything in the first time around. The food was so good, as expected but for me the service and kindness really set the night up for a good time.More infoSouthGatePrice: Moderate• Contemporary Korean• Rittenhouse Square•4.9
- DWDocWozPhiladelphia County •12 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024Again, this is a 4.5 star restaurant—across all categories, including value and quality of food. The service, for me, was top notch—not only were servers attentive but were very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making my experience enjoyable. I had some nice recommendations regarding some simple questions posed (burger or fish and chips? For which I was guided to an excellent burger at perfect requested temperature!) and my water and Guinness glasses were kept filled without the servers being too cloying. The Guinness was an excellent pour as well, and the Brussels Sprouts appetizer with kielbasa was a different twist and also well prepared. The only nitpick I had in terms of food was the hand cut fires, which were house made and fresh, were a bit tepid and flabby when served. The other nitpick was a seating issue—I was a bit nippy while seated at a hi-top in the bar area—the side door which was directly behind me let in cold air each time it was open. This is practically uncorrectable by the restaurant—so treat this not as a condemnation but as a pro-tip for your experience there (don’t sit behind that door in the winter!) And you should go—this was a quality experience and would go again (and again).More infoCon Murphy's Irish PubPrice: Moderate• American• Center City•4.7
