- CChristianDevon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe experience of the afternoon tea was really good from start to finish. First visit to the nook and I was impressed with the layout of the venue and the relaxed atmosphere. Great views across Cheltenham, comfortable chairs and a really good selection of food for the afternoon tea. The service was impeccable and the selection and quality of drinks were very good. I will definitely be booking to come again for afternoon tea and lunch with family and friends.More infoThe Nook On FivePrice: Very Expensive• British• Cheltenham•4.4
- GGailShropshire •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 30, 2024Fabulous experience, one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had for a long time. Attentive but not obtrusive. Delicious and gave takeaway box as we couldn’t eat all the cakes. Will definitely recommend and visit again! Staff a credit. Warm and friendly. Excellent presentation of delicious food.More infoThe Abbey Tea BarPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Bath•3.9
- SShaunGloucestershire/Wiltshire •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024When you arrive at this location, you could be forgiven for thinking you have come to the wrong place. It is very unassuming from the outside, and it's easy to drive past it and think you have accidentally turned into a farm yard / eventing location. However, do not judge a book by its cover..... Inside is very welcoming, spacious and warm. The service, from start to finish, was nothing short of excellent, and the food was the biggest surprise. It really was excellent. The menu was short, but that normally suggests that the dishes have been properly focused on and that was the case here. Each of the starters our party of eight ordered were deemed excellent. The main courses were plentiful, extremely well cooked, and great value. And the puddings were off the chart nice! I heartily recommend this place. Go on - give it a try. As a bonus, there are excellent views across the Welsh countryside......More infoThe Pavilion by Pickled Pumpkin CateringPrice: Expensive• English• Montgomery•4.7
- CCathyLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in warmly. The table was dressed festively. Our waitress (sorry I cannot remember her name) was lovely and helpful and confirmed that our special requirements of no fish had been noted. The food was delicious and there was a good choice of cakes and mini desserts as well as the normal scones, clotted cream and jam. However, the homemade mince pie was simply superb. I am 57yrs old and eaten a lot of mince pies over the years, and I can say this was THE BEST MINCE PIE I have ever eaten!!More infoAfternoon Tea at The Secret Garden DoubleTree by HiltonPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Bath•3.8
