- PPeterDerbyshire •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSuperb in all regards except one! The service was charming and very professional. The food was delicious and without fault. Portions ample, perfectly cooked and presented! Overall flawless however the coffee is awful! Really poor. The house cafetière coffee which my wife had, was bad, very 1970’s warm with very low quality taste. Not trusting cafetière coffee I ordered a cappacino at extra cost which was as poor. Come on Dovecote, time to catch up with the rest of the world and serve decent coffee. Such a prestigious reputation and otherwise generally great - what a shame!More infoThe Dovecote RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• European• Derby•4.8

The staff are wonderful and attentive to a fault without being overbearing. Our 3rd visit in 14 days and certainly not our last.More infoCavendish Restaurant at ChatsworthPrice: Very Expensive• British• Bakewell•4.7
- LLyndaLincolnshire •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 20, 2024Delicious treat which has become a Christmas tradition for us! I enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco and my husband chose the savoury afternoon tea with a beer. Unfortunately they had run out of ale though, so he had to be content with a Peroni. He suggested that a small sweet treat would have been nice to finish off his selection but on this occasion he stole one of mine! Thank you and happy Christmas to all.?More infoDoddington Tea RoomPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Lincoln•4.6
