Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in South Petherton

Lovely selection of cakes and savoury snacks. The brownie and latte were amazing. The staff were very accommodating as we had two pushchairs. The brought food over and opened doors for us. A lovely first time visit for a nervous new mum. Thank you :)

Fabulous experience, one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had for a long time. Attentive but not obtrusive. Delicious and gave takeaway box as we couldn’t eat all the cakes. Will definitely recommend and visit again! Staff a credit. Warm and friendly. Excellent presentation of delicious food.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed in warmly. The table was dressed festively. Our waitress (sorry I cannot remember her name) was lovely and helpful and confirmed that our special requirements of no fish had been noted. The food was delicious and there was a good choice of cakes and mini desserts as well as the normal scones, clotted cream and jam. However, the homemade mince pie was simply superb. I am 57yrs old and eaten a lot of mince pies over the years, and I can say this was THE BEST MINCE PIE I have ever eaten!!
