Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Bournheath

Seabass was delicious piping hot and very tasty two friends ordered the same and agreed. Another friend had pork belly and his was equally enjoyable. Had mincemeat frangipan tart for desert and it was mouthwatering. Excellent value for a first class meal.

The food was absolutely amazing. The only criticism I have and it’s a small one was that the dessert was delivered without cutlery and it took ages for them to come back with it, which wouldn’t have been a problem had one of the desserts not been a hot one. As I said, a small niggle as the rest of the meal was absolutely lovely.

Great food and service as always by the team at the horseshoes. Always a pleasure to return!

Excellent service friendly staff. Food was exceptional especially the fish and chips it was so fresh and the batter was lovely and light along with a variety of sauces and homemade chunk chips. The seating area was Warm and cosy next to the log fire. We got to speak to the owner who is also the chef. Such a delight cannot thank you enough we will be back!

Absolutely incredible - as always. My partner and I always pick The Fountain for special occasions and it never disappoints, incredible food, incredibly friendly and polite staff - you genuinely can’t get any better.
