Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Mid-City

James, or server was outstanding — he explained the options (gave us recommendations) and was attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent and the pace comfortable to allow us to visit with friends we hadn’t seen for awhile.

Great service. Dinner was nice here though brunches are great. If the dinner items and happy hour offerings appeal to you, I highly suggest Meet in Paris. Brunches as usual have more offerings that appeal to a wider range of tastes and is a safe and far more interesting choice that its competitors. Pro tip: always order your chocolate soufflé when you order dinner for optimal timing! Always a treat. Also a plus, it’s located on the western end of downtown Culver City, where traffic and parking are a bit easier. This especially made for an even more enjoyable experience. Lunch was superb, as the Contadina Schiacciate is a favorite, with artichokes and other vegetables pressed with melted rubiola cheese in between flaky focaccia. The seasonal salad offered even more artichokes and intensely flavored tomatoes. The patio is delightful, complete with lovely Italian tableware. Service was prompt, but nobody seemed rushed, most diners enjoying the terrific food and convivial atmosphere.

It was a great experience as always. My mother tried some new dishes too, which made the evening more interesting. We will be return soon.

Had a great brunch prior to attending a play at the Geffen nearby. Great service by our waiter Danny.
