Difficult one. The food is excellent, we had soup, scallops, sea bream, the service is also great. However, my wife and I just didn't enjoy the overall experience at this restaurant. The heating makes a noise like a fire alarm, the lighting and decor isn't quite right, the fixtures and fittings give the feel of a business in its infancy. There's stiff competition in the town with Rocksalt and Ascoughs, the latter being in a different league. The basics are there, it just needs a little more investment in the finer details.

Great food, we had sandwiches and they were great but on the large side which isn’t a bad thing but will know for future. Waitress was attentive and checked in a couple of times. All round great food , great service will return in the future.

Excellent food and the young man serving was not only helpful and attentive, but very friendly and welcoming. A very good experience overall.

The usual top notch Sunday roast, never fails to satisfy. Throw in fab service from the friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere & it all makes for a fab place to be.
