The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. We celebrated New Year's Day and our daughters 40th birthday in style. Venue was very swish, service was great and all nine of our meals very good. The menu is good and amazingly moderately priced, especially for a Bank Holiday. Highly recommended

Great New Year's Day meal - we had a slight issue with the main meals (some delivered before others) but everything was handled very efficiently by Katie who kept us informed. Would recommend to anyone who wants good pub food at reasonable prices.
