August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Wednesday - Saturday, and from 12pm for Sunday Lunch. Absolute perfection. August is one of the best dining experiences we've had in Brisbane for years. Delicious, creative dishes with lots of heart (and generously portioned too). Such a beautiful space to visit and be transported through a truly memorable meal.

After ordering a take away pizza on the Monday and it absolutely hitting the spot in all the right ways, I had to go back on the weekend to try the dining in experience. I was absolutely not disappointed; the food is such a stand out; everything was seasoned wonderfully and so very flavoursome. The negroni’s are *chefs kiss*, the nice touch of having the word ‘negroni’ engaged into the giant ice cubes was an impeccable touch! The fairy lights outside come on around 6:30pm and made for a wonderful ambience for any intimate get together. My new favourite local and absolute stand out - could not recommend more!
