Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Villa Park

I love Hemingway Bistro. The food is excellent. The decor wonderful. The staff is professional, helpful, courteous and want you to enjoy your time there. I know I can order alcoholic drinks which I will enjoy. It is in my mind the first place I want to bring someone to for a special occasion and I am at ease that they will be extremely happy we went there. Never have had a bad experience ever and have been there enough to know. Just enjoyed first Sunday brunch visit. A man who was leaving when we were going in said it was great for him just then.

We went on Thanksgiving and Kevin our server promised he would take good care of us and he did. The service was great and his description of the food was right on. Sometimes servers make recommendations or say something and you're skeptical but we were very pleased. The char grill flavor on our chicken picatta and pork chops was perfect and the vodka margherita pizza was yummy. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Small tip, I guess it was super busy so we had to eat in the cooking school, it was a little bright, less ambiance than the main room. Maybe add some candles and turn down the lights. We still enjoyed our evening.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving meal! We could order off the menu or we could have a traditional thanksgiving meal! So perfect! Lovely space, great service and great food! Wonderful location for looking at Frank Lloyd Wright houses! Highly recommend Citrine Cafe!

Thanksgiving Day-the place was PACKED. We had a reservation and were, surprisingly, seated immediately. Our server, Peter, was phenomenal. Great friendly attitude, brought us things he knew we would need before we asked, made sure we were happy. Meals were served faster than we expected due to the crowd. The turkey dinner portions were huge and delicious. We could not have asked for a better experience!! Will definitely be back!
