- RRebeccaWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe love the Kingbird and often go there before performances at the Kennedy Center, however this evening we decided to go just for dinner as a Christmas treat (yay! a day where I did not have to cook!). The staff was lovely -- superior service. The waiter was attentive -- orders were placed and drinks and food arrived just at the time you would expect them to. We were not rushed and we also did not have to peer around looking for a waiter. Really, really great service. The drinks and the food were delicious. My husband and son had the filet mignon and I had the salmon, with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms for sides. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful. The music is funky -- kind of chill house music, but low enough to be able to converse normally. The restaurant is set-up so that so that there is room between the tables and the noise level is low. Overall, a fabulous experience. I *highly* recommend the Kingbird for anyone looking for an elegant, relaxed meal.More infoKingbird at The Watergate HotelPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Foggy Bottom•4.1
- FFadaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •149 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoSimply the BEST! There is a reason our dear friend requested her birthday celebration be at The Prime Rib. The delicious cocktails are prepared just to our specifications. The food is always excellent (prime rib, medium rare, done perfectly!); the service is sublime; and the ambiance is beautiful, along with the melodious sounds of the piano close by. We had a remarkable time, lost in the beauty of dining in a scene reminiscent of a long-ago and far away steak house. The Christmas decorations added to the magic. Thank you for an amazing dining experience.More infoThe Prime RibPrice: Very Expensive• American• Downtown•4.8

- PPaulWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe restaurant, bar and lounge areas spread out across multiple rooms / terraces / levels so it is a really intimate and fun layout. Excellent service and value. Price for classic drinks skewed a tad high in my opinion. I'll try and catch a happy hour sometime and the jazz performances.More infoTabard InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Dupont Circle•4.7
