Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Its fertile soil and Mediterranean climate translated into an abundance of fresh produce as well as treasured seafood and game. Legend tells that Kokkari is the site where Orion, a mighty hunter and a young man of gigantic stature and great beauty, fell in love with the daughter of the king of Chios. The food here is a fascinating eclectic version of Mediterranean food different from what we have had before. Sauces are especially good combining savory and sweet. The Tabouleh was delicious as were the Cypriot Lamb chops. Chubby pita a great vehicle for hummous , Muhammara and Smokey yogurt. we will be back to try all the other intriguing dishes on the menu.

Amazing dining experience for my husband's birthday. Daria was our server and was excellent. We loved her suggestions on the menu as well. We enjoyed the octopus (best I've ever had), lamb meatballs, Gigantes, Smelt, and the goat stew to finish. We were absolutely stuffed and definitely slept like babies! Everything was stunning. I've heard such wonderful things before coming here, and they had exceeded my expectations.

A great location to meet friends for breakfast! We had a small, more private area as a party of 8. We were able to enjoy each other's company and spend time with each other before traveling home. Food was excellent, service was outstanding.
