Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Alexandria

Things often change over the years and often not for the best. I take great comfort in knowing over the several decades I’ve been a faithful customer, RT’s has never changed in all the ways that count - top food, top service, fun ambiance, and always a special place to bring out-of-towners. (Just wish they’d bring back the Ginger Rogers cocktail!). Thank you, RT’s, and here’s to many more years.

We would highly recommend this French style restaurant. The interior is stunning, the food is excellent, and the staff very accommodating. It is not inexpensive but great for special occasions.

The entire high tea experience was perfect and ideal. Everything was perfect! The foods outstanding. The tea selection was so many it was hard to choose from. We each were satisfied with our selections and recommendations from our server. It was a wonderful afternoon and I would highly recommend this for a special afternoon with friends and family. Plus they have a no cell phone use policy. It was nice quiet conversations, exactly how dining out should be. Thank you to everyone who made our cold afternoon a delight.

This is my favorite spot to dine and celebrate with my family and friends, it never disappoints, the service is always great , the staff make us feel that warm welcoming since the arrival , the food quality is always outstanding , requests are always accomplish , Jose is been our server most of the time , since the first time when we met Geovanny , Jose at the door , Efrain and rest of the back servers , our experience was great , thank you all for your hard work and dedication …. As always, exceptional (authentic?) welcome and service. Food was excellent. Recommend Winter Squash for vegetarians; salmon was excellent. LOVE the ambience.
