Best Restaurants for People Watching in Paradise

I accidentally booked a reservation for 2 instead of 3 (including our 10-year-old) for 7:30 on Christmas night. We called to let them know and were relieved that they were able to accommodate us. The next reservation for 3 was at 10:30 PM when I realized my mistake and tried to change my reservation. The roast chicken a la grand-mere was delicious and perfectly cooked. The frisée & lardon was very good. My daughter got the steak et frites, which was a bit tough but she liked it. Banana Foster was pricey but delicious. Asked if we could room charge but the waiter said it takes 10 minutes. I’m assuming he didn’t want to do the room charge. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and were grateful that the manager approved the change to our reservation.

Appetizers were excellent but food was mediocre. The sweet n sour and orange chicken tasted similar and very little distinction. I've had both before and never had this issue before.

We originally were a table of 9 which on arrival we changed to 11 with no issues. The waiter was brilliant he came over explained everything and told us to share sides as they were large. He answered all of our questions and advised which steak would be best he knew all the different cuts. The food arrived and everyone was pleased the sides were large as he had advised. The food was cooked to perfection my husband eats a lot of steak and he said it was one of the best he’d ever had. Everyone on the table enjoyed the meal and commented on it. The restaurant is a lovely setting and we were checked upon as a large group we were very well looked after quite often you can be forgotten. Even though we had been told it was expensive it was what we would have expected for a steak restaurant of that standard . My only negative comment would be we struggled to hear the waiter and also to converse in the group as the DJ was just in front of us and the volume was very loud otherwise a fantastic evening and would highly recommend

Jesus, our server, was amazing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely attentive. I would eat there often if I knew he would be our server.

What a great experience. First, the service was outstanding. Our server - Dave - made sure we had everything and all our needs were met throughout our whole meal. Great job! The food was excellent as well. We had four different meals and everyone raved about their meals. It’s always nice when a place exceeds your expectations and Cabo Wabo really did it for us!
