Best Restaurants for People Watching in Culver City

The Culver Hotel has changed and improved their afternoon tea menu. There were pleasant little surprises in the food that I wasn't expecting---a little herbal note here, a little floral accent there (don't want to spoil the surprises), and voila! the food was tasty with interesting little twists. The tea selection was decent (about half a dozen or so) and the quantity was definitely sufficient for a full meal. The ambience was relaxing, not too busy when we were there, so not too noisy. Service is definitely acceptable, not quite white glove, but perfectly passable. And, given its location on the Westside, the price point is reasonable. A nice little hideaway amidst the bustling downtown Culver city. I will be back.

The experience was amazing, our waitress was attentive, went over the menu and made suggestions, kept our waters full. The food was amazing, I will be returning here in the future

our server Kaitlin and the bussing staff made this particular time at the Terrace very special. She knew the menu from the top of her head. She timed everything perfectly. We had a friend with two toddlers and she helped get them coloring books that kept them entertained the entire time. Very great experience dining here! I usually come here when it’s super packed but luckily the day I went (and the time) it was not packed at all. With it being less busy, the ambiance was nice and quiet. I was able to hear my conversations. The food was amazing!! The Sweet Corn Agnolotti was very good but lacked a sufficient amount for how much the dish is. The Spicy Pomodoro was amazing!! One of my favorites here and for the amount of pasta it has, it is worth your money. I was not expecting to like the Banana Tiramisu but I enjoyed it so much! I wish I got two but I ended up getting so full haha. Overall 9/10 experience!
