Best Restaurants for Groups in Southbank

Have used this branch and Borough many times over the years so was very disappointed with service. Took 20 minutes before we were asked about drinks and they had no Efe so we had to have Peroni. Asked twice for water. At no point during our meal did anyone come and check all was ok or ask if we needed anything , we had to call them over every time. It just did not seem there were enough staff, one waiter spent most of his time on mobile phone! Then 2 disappeared leaving 1 serving, 1 pouring drinks and 2 chefs! I had purposely booked the table as there were 9 of us after visit the theatre but they seemed overwhelmed by walk ins. The food itself was as lovely as always but the lack of staff was pie.

I’ve been to this wonderful restaurant a few times, and love it!! The ambience, the decor, the service and obviously, the excellent food, make it stand out above other Spanish restaurants. But with its location being in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, you see a lot of locals eating there, and regularly coming back. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough; it’s extremely authentic and feels just like being back in the heart of Spain.

Great food. Belly ribs and porterhouse were outstanding. Sides were delicious, though portions could be more generous for the price. The buttered greens were quite small for £6. Service was very warm and welcoming. Only feedback is regarding unavailable menu items. We tried to order several dishes that weren't available. It would be great if we got a rundown of everything unavailable as we were being seated so we could exclude them from our decision.

Brilliant food. had the beef wife had the beef wellington. Portion size is good we are both big eaters and both left stuffed after a main and dessert. I cannot put into words how good the beef was, wife felt the same re the wellington. So good we are going back again
