Best Restaurants for Groups in Croydon

Been before and - as always - this visit was a pure delight. We were celebrating a birthday and it was a very special meal. Food was amazing (as always), expertly spiced. Not overpowering, but no hiding the delicious flavours. Fish, prawns and indeed everything else cooked to perfection. We’ll be back again I’m sure.

We had a great time in the Big Easy. The food was great and service was great. It was a bit on the warm side in the restaurant though.

We ate at Hawksmoor Air Street before the theatre. The staff were great from the moment I arrived. Very welcoming and approachable. We told our server that we needed to be out by 7pm and they did their best to keep our dishes coming quickly. The set menu is lovely - almost all of us opted for the rump steak and the potted beef to start. Nothing was left on the plates it was that good! Steaks cooked to perfection, unctuous sauces and those chips! It was our friend's birthday and despite not having any room or time for dessert, he got a scoop of ice cream on a decorated plate with a candle for us to sing happy birthday! Much appreciated. Always a great experience.

We had a divinely delicious vegetarian lunch at the Sapore Vero, and an equally heavenly dessert. We can't praise it highly enough. It is genuinely Italian cuisine and all freshly home made, and you could taste the difference.

Lovely venue on a sunny evening for drinks in Sutton. The team working there are very accommodating of our group of 14. Do playing very chilled music helped to create the perfect atmosphere. Can’t wait to see what the Sri Lankan food is like once that opens in the evenings.
