Best Restaurants for Groups in Huntersville

We had a wonderful Christmas party with our friends and family on Friday. Our group was larger than most of the parties there (14 of us), but our server Allie did a fantastic job. The food was amazing and we were happily surprised to see Classic Filipino Steak on the menu! We met Faith, the wife and business partner of chef Wes who is the founder of Choplin’s and found out she’s Filipino, hence the special steak on the menu. She was very hospitable, as well as her cousin Samantha who is the manager who continue to check on our group throughout dinner service. We love that it’s a family operated restaurant. You can really feel it in their service. Thank you Choplin’s for a wonderful 1st experience, especially on such a busy night! Salamat po! We will be back!

We visit F&F at least once a month and each visit has always been great. Last night we took my (fairly selective) in-laws to F&F for dinner and they both loved it! Alex took fantastic care of us - we opted for "The Treatment" and she did an exceptional job of selecting dishes for our group with various diets and preferences. A huge thanks to Josh and his team for always being so attentive to every detail. We will absolutely be back again soon.

Fantastic meal! Great ambience and service! We started with the Ground Duck Flatbread and both of us agreed that we should cancel the rest of our order and just get two of those. Amazing combination of flavors. Our entrees did not disappoint. I had Grouper and my partner had steak. Both were cooked perfectly. Our waitress was wonderful and suggested drinks for us as well as kept our water glasses full. She was attentive without being in our face. We will definitely go again! They don’t have parking but there is a large parking garage at the same corner.

3 of the 4 meals were really good. The salmon was overcooked, which was odd as it was requested rare. Our waiter did get them to remake it rare, but it caused my wife to basically eat alone as the rest of our party was done when she got it.

The Port City is one of my new faves! I just love the Orange Julius and Lobster dumplings though only four at $5 each is bit much since I would love them as a meal!!!! The Chili Crusted Seared Tuna is amazing!!! Hope to make it a monthly stop.
