Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. The 57th Fighter Group Restaurant is a unique restaurant located in Atlanta which commemorates the historic 57th fighter squadron of World War II. As one might expect, the walls of the restaurant are covered with decor, art and photographs of the era, particularly planes and pilots of the U.S. Air Force during the 1940s. A hidden gem.Enjoy a relaxing setting in one of our inside dining rooms complete with fireplaces, a touch of jazz music playing throughout, and an incredible view of the airport with taxiing planes and helicopters.     Great experience. Damond our server was excellent in explaining the menu and making our dining experience a 10 out of 10. We had grouper, salmon, sea bass and a Caesar salad with fried chicken strips as protein. Also the Mac and cheese with lobster was excellent.

    My wife & I dined here for her birthday. We had a phenomenal experience! Our server D’Anna decorated the table nicely for us (I called in advance) & and we were in a nice secluded area. We had the fried green tomatoes - delicious! I had the Red Snapper - amazing! My wife had the Pheasant with white rice & gumbo - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Compliments to the chef! He brought dessert out to us personally, a spiced carrot cake and an apple creme brûlée both fantastic! My wife felt well catered to which was the expectation and Im greatly appreciative for everything you all did for us that evening!
