Best Restaurants for Groups in Hamsey

We dined on a Wednesday and the Meat Platter for 2 was available for £56 which was incredible value and plenty food for two on its own.

It's a superb setting for a pre-Christmas lunch treat. The food was fantastic and just enough to delight the taste buds and leave enough energy for shopping in the afternoon. The reception team and waiters were attentive and friendly. The decor is stunning and lifts the whole experience. Thank you.

We had to wait to be seated as we were told that our table was ready but then advised it was given to someone else and it would be a couple of minutes. That was not true and we had to enquire if the table was then ready, to which we were seated immediately. Although we were having the set Christmas menu we were also not offered a drinks menu, we had to pull this up via our phones. The server we finally had was nice, but we had to ask to do the Cluedo activity but he was attentive when serving the food. Normally it’s been really great here but the seating and no drinks menu was not the best experience.

Food was very good - we had steak and the pie, very good portions. Coffee was good, and service was fine except that, considering how quiet it was, the staff appeared less attentive/present than they might have been.

Went for a birthday brunch today with family. Friendly efficient staff and a good atmosphere. Food came quickly and looked delicious. Our sausages were very underdone, but after a quick word with our server, they were replaced with lovely well cooked ones and we had a lovely meal. Would recommend.
