- JJonathanVIPWashington, D.C. Area •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIn the best possible way, La Chaumiere is a gastronomic and cultural time machine. Guarding its traditions, and outstanding classic recipes, the charming atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food all make this restaurant a favorite. Experiment with nouvelle cuisine elsewhere: La Chaumiere delivers on point, from delightful soufflés to game and beef specialties. Especially nice in wintertime with the fireplace aglow.More infoLa ChaumierePrice: Expensive• French• Georgetown•4.8
- MMichellePhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe got the Jaleo experience tasting menu. It was excellent, and more food than we were expecting. Definitely worth the price! It was somewhat loud and we had trouble hearing the wait staff at times, but otherwise we would definitely do this again!More infoJaleo - DCPrice: Expensive• Spanish• Penn Quarter•4.7

- RRobWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe went to Jont two years ago and it was spectacular then and I wasn’t sure how they could improve. However, this visit was off the charts and I’m not sure why they don’t have three Michelin stars yet. We have been to 30 Michelin stars worth of restaurants globally so we have a pretty good perspective. Chef Ryan was in the kitchen (which you essentially sit at a bar adjacent to) the whole time and he came over and spent some time with us which was very cool. The staff is funny, friendly and well informed. I got the special Waygu Zabuton in lieu of chicken and it was probably the best steaks I’ve ever had. Sometimes these type restaurants get a little too eclectic with one or two dishes, and that wasn’t the case here. Every dish wowed our family. In fact, my wife ate Uni for the first time (having passed on it before) and loved it. We feel fortunate to have this spot in DC and can’t wait to go back.More infoJôntPrice: Very Expensive• French / Japanese• U Street Corridor•4.9
- JJulieSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024There was a private event that required we be seated in a private dining room that was cozy and comfortable. Despite this huge event happening, our service by Gustavo was incredibly attentive and timely. What a warm and wonderful human being! Chef Todd Gray always manages to hire the best staff out there. They are incredibly personable, knowledgeable and caring about their work. The food is always scrumptious and top notch. Equinox is our go-to plant-based restaurant for sure. It's always a celebration of food, love, ambience, and fabulous service. We adore it there.More infoEquinox - DCPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
