The cuisine is complemented by a beverage program with over 500 French wine labels and an extensive collection of Cognac and Armagnac.Transporting guests to another time and place while being rooted in the present, Monarque hosts a rotation of acts every weekend, with Baltimore's best jazz musicians, cabaret vocalists, burlesque dancers, and more. Monarque welcomes guests of all ages Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the experience is suited for guests 18 years of age and older, and only adults are permitted to dine. When making your weekend reservations, please note that parties of 1-5 guests will have two hours to enjoy our cuisine and entertainment, parties of 5-8 will dine for two hours and 30 minutes, and parties of 9 and more can enjoy seating for three hours.

Jerk at Nite, founded by Denville Myrie, Jr. in 2012, began as a solution to the lack of late-night food options at Howard University. After seeing his peers struggle with unhealthy fast food, Denville, raised in a Jamaican household, started delivering flavorful jerk chicken and other Jamaican dishes from his dorm. What began as a small campus venture evolved into a food truck business in 2015, and later, a brick-and-mortar restaurant.     Absolutely LOVED the Sunday dining service with elegant piano player. The gentleman played hit songs the audience were all familiar with. The decorative theme and ambiance was vintage. The food presentation was just as delicious as it looks in my photos.. I tried something NEW! Our tastebuds were pleasantly impressed! Great place for food and classy entertainment.

    Valentine dinner, food was great, wine pairings were extremely well matched. Our server was personable and fun to interact with. Entree was a small steak and a crab cake, no one can beat John Shields when it comes to crabs. Even the sides of roast fingerling potatoes and green beans were outstanding.     Great Italian restaurant - the best in Baltimore! I took my wife here for our anniversary. I had the Fettuccine Bolognese and my wife had the Fettuccine Toscana...both were top notch dishes and the homemade pasta makes all the difference. Service was great too. Ristorante fantastico!

    Everything was great. It was Valentines Day. The valet service was perfect. The hostess's welcomed us and took our coats, they were both cheery and polite. We were seated right away. Our server was Randall, first off, he has a great personality and man he knows his wine! Outstanding recommendation.....one of the best waiters we have ever worked with. The fresh focaccia was warm, and the sweet potato butter worked well with it. We split the beet salad, which was outstanding. The Swordfish was perfectly cooked, and the presentation was charming. The goat cheese ravioli was over the top good, nice and creamy but not over seasoned. My compliments to the Chef. We ordered the chocolate souffle as dessert (which you have order when you order dinner, it takes to make it from scratch), it will not disappoint...its paired with a raspberry sorbet. Great combination. Ask for Randall when you make your reservations. He's a really cool guy. The atmosphere was nice a welcoming, light jazz music playing in the background. The place was clean, neat and squared away. I thank everyone there for a wonderful evening.
