Best Restaurants for Foodies in Rockcreek

There were six of us for our annual family Pre-Christmas dinner. We do this every year at a different restaurant, last night was perfect. Our server was great, the food was great, the cocktails were great. We had a great time! 

This was the best yet. The Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian tradition that my family always did on Christmas Eve. I still continue that tradition today at my home with Chioppino and other fish dishes. Don and Adam's take on it was supurb. Every dish was as delicious as the last. Bravissimo Don and Adam.

Nostrana is an (almost) hidden Portland treasure! The space and ambiance is warm yet epic, the entire staff seems to be operating on another level from other fine dining restaurants in Portland; they're engaged, friendly, warm, and yet professional and perfectionistic in the best possible ways. The food, all of it, was super-fresh and really special. Might have something to do with them having their own chef's garden right across the street. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

My brother was visiting from out of town (a renowned foodie) and we had the best meal! He was truly astonished. The service was impeccable too and the dishes were delicious and completely original!

I knew nothing about this place in advance. All I knew was that it was Italian. When we arrived, the service, the ambiance, the atmosphere, the FOOD, the reasonable pricing, it was spectacular. I am a foodie, born and raised in PNW, this is truly my new favorite place, and their whiskey bar next door is the icing on the cake. Check it out. You’re welcome.
