Best Restaurants for Foodies in Estero

We were seated at a beautiful banquette table with a lovely view of the dining room. Our waitress was quiet, thorough, and so helpful . The sea bass was probably the best fish I’ve ever had with miso butter, mushrooms and asparagus . My husband had the best steak he has ever eaten - boneless strip steak au poivre with chambord cream cooked perfectly medium rare. We have already booked our next reservation there.

This is a quaint restaurant with very few tables but beautifully decorated. We were visited by the chef at our table and he gave us some excellent suggestions for appetizers wine and our main courses. We started with the fig and goat cheese appetizer followed by a chorizo and Brie cheese paired with a glass of French rose. All were delicious. We then had a chicken chorizo and ham arroza and a pan seared duck breast with figs and mash potatoes. Both were excellent! For dessert we had a burnt cheese cake and an almond tart served warm. They were fabulous!! I have to say I have eaten at many restaurants in South Florida and have not had this type of service even in the most expensive restaurants. Our server was exceptional and went above and beyond!! Highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning soon!!!

Our server Josalyn , only 18 and a criminal justice major in junior college, is soo personable and friendly but so efficient and timely with our drinks and courses that it just made our 38th anniversary dinner a wonderful experience to remember! And I cannot thank our hostess enough who arranged a special table indoors for us on literally 2 hours’ notice, when I realized we had driven almost 400 miles the day before,planning to celebrate at Connors and I had thought I had made the reservation but had not! Everyone else treated us royally as well. This is one place where “same old, same old….” Is a GOOD thing, like each time in the past. We now plan to dine at Connors at least once every time we come near Sanibel or Ft Myers. Last year in December, even drove down from Clearwater for the day

From the moment I pulled up with my mom, the valet was right there to assist her out of the car. Alejandro, our server, was polite, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. The food was absolutely delicious—my mom loved the mussels appetizer, and my kale salad was tender and flavorful. The scallops and sea bass were perfectly cooked and so filling we couldn’t finish, but we made sure to bring cannolis home for dessert. After dinner, they walked us out and wished us a great evening. The entire experience, from the service to the incredible food, was truly worth it!

Sat near the kitchen. Felt like I was watching The Bear! The kitchen staff was amazing. Organized, efficient, team focused and great attitudes. Kudos to the team. Our waitress was awesome, too! Pleasant, knowledgeable, witty and helpful. Even took photos for us for my husbands bday. And she was busy too! Dinner was awesome we all loved our apps and meals! Always great at the Hawk!
