Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available. Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3.     Excellent food. Staff were welcoming and warm. Waitress was very helpful in marking the menu to show what foods were gluten free. Cider was super tasty. Lamb chops were delectable, highly recommend. 10/10 would visit again.

    We celebratedour wedding anniversary with an outstanding dinner last night. The food is always excellent and the service is seamless and professional. We were delighted to have Jill as our server—she was a longtime favorite from Vista Springs and she greeted us cheerfully and was an excellent server. Our corner table seemed quite dark and my husband asked if we could possibly have some candles, and within minutes 2 tealight candles were brought to the table—it made a big difference in the ambiance and we really appreciated the responsiveness. Higgins has been a favorite of ours for 25 years and it has continued to be our first choice for our anniversaries and other special occasions over the years.

    A perfect dinner (seated at counter) at Nostrana. Went on a Thursday - gnocchi night. I usually don’t choose gnocchi, but am now a convert - so pillowy and tender, and the clam sauce I chose was buttery, seasoned greatness. Our server was friendly, warm, and efficient and suggested an alternative wine by the glass that was from next door that was so good we bought a bottle to take home. Consistently amazing, and impressed my husband for date night.

    I came here with a friend because we wanted to try something different and neither of us really knew what to expect. The waiter was so nice and patient explaining what everything was and answering our questions. And the food was delicious!!! We were already planning what we wanted to get next time we come
