Best Restaurants for Foodies in Belvedere Park

The food was fantastic and the portions relative to the size were very reasonable. Honestly, for a more upscale tapas place the cost of each plate is relatively low, as long as you're conscious of the cost of things you're ordering. The mac n' cheese and calamare was outstanding, and most of the other dishes we ordered (empanadas, churros, B.W.D, montadito) were at least good, if not great. The only downside is because the food and service is so good, its incredibly busy. We made a reservation for 8:30 and didn't get sat until 8:50, which was frustrating. Iberian Pig did give a small bread and tomato dish to apologize for the extra wait, but coupled with the strict cancellation policy, it isn't somewhere I would go if I had somewhere to be afterwards.

As a restaurant manager myself, I tend to scrutinize dining experiences with the precision of a food critic and the paranoia of a health inspector. That said… this place knocked it out of the park! The food? Unreal. The service? Impeccable. The atmosphere? A perfect blend of lively and cozy. Let’s talk about the seafood paella—so good it could make a grown man cry. The crispy calamari? Hands down, the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). The meat and cheese board was a masterpiece, setting the stage for the grand finale: the Brisket Montaditos—little bites of pure flavor explosion. Every dish had me questioning why I don’t eat here daily. Our server, Ashley, was a rockstar—attentive, friendly, and somehow always there before we even realized we needed something. She kept our table pristine like she was setting up for a Michelin-star review. And let’s not forget Oliver, the manager, who clearly runs a tight ship. He and his team are absolutely killing it. Perfect spot for date night, impressing friends, or just treating yourself to a culinary adventure. I’ll definitely be back—and probably ordering everything on the menu again.

Went for a birthday celebration, party of 6 (incl 2 kids). Food was very good. Selection wasn’t extensive but adequate. It was somewhat noisy and a bit chilly (near the door). Staff was pleasant. Appreciated the complimentary glass of champagne for adults for BD toast, and limoncello to top off the meal. Made the evening special. Recommend the calamari - yum!

We had the most amazing experience. Our date was planned for after a long work schedule. We were tired and edgy. Everything changed when we walked though the door. There was a significant feeling of calm and ease. The host offered me a seat while I waited for my husband to return from the car. As soon as he came back we were seated. Our server was Tai (sp?) she was amazing, but she had others who kept an eye on us too; refilling waters and clearing plates. Tai brought a sense of calm and trust to the table. After a long and taxiing couple of weeks we finally felt at ease. To quote my husband, “If more people were like her, the world would be a better place.” Food was also amazing, but the service made all the difference for our date night.

It was our ten year anniversary so after ordering oysters (delicious!) and cocktails, we decided to order broiled lobster, which since they hadn’t updated the menu-they were not serving it. Okay, so we decided to go somewhere else. After explaining this to our amazing Server, O.D. He spoke to the Chef, Eddie. Eddie visited our table, apologized that the lobster was not available to be served the way we like, but he said that he would accommodate us and prepare it especially for us since it was our anniversary. He also served us a few complimentary dishes and a glass of champagne, too! The food was absolutely amazing, and we gave a generous tip to O.D in appreciation for going above and beyond. Chef’s kiss to Eddie and we will be returning.
