Best Date Night Restaurants in Thornwood

Vida was packed last night. 💃🏻 This is a brand new restaurant in Thornwood by the talented husband and wife duo at Augustine’s in Mamaroneck… Brianne Myers and Marc Taxiera. I love them as humans and am in awe of what they do as creatives/restauranteurs. I was worried about this newest endeavor only because their presence, in addition to incredible food, is such an integral part of Augustine’s success. How will they be able to nurture this baby as beautifully as their first? After visiting last night with a few friends, I no longer have any fears. Vida has been open a month and it felt like it had been operating successfully for years. I am neck deep in Christmas everything, but I am just so happy for Brianne and Marc, but also for Westchester. We needed some new “Vida” around these parts. Will def include comments under the photos. One more thing… omg the food. Oh and the glassware. and the patio that we will all enjoy in the Spring! ok… gotta go! So many gorgeous details. On a horrible rainy night, it was a pleasure to get inside to wonderful hospitality and delicious food. Petite filets and salmon were ordered, cooked to everyone’s liking. The side dishes were yummy, a baked potato, Brussels sprouts & asparagus. And the carrot cake was the most delicious!

Always good. Thank you guys. Food and service excellent.

The quality of food and level of staff training remains high in this Pleasantville gem. Highly recommended.
