- JJohannaMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat food, amazing wine list, beautiful breeze through big open windows on a lovely summer evening with friends. This place is a big draw card in The Basin! Staff were super friendly and helpful. They adapted a couple of dishes for us which was fab. Would definitely recommend to others as a good place for a meal to celebrate , or just because!More infoThe Peacock DenPrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• The Basin•4.6
- SSusanMelbourne •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoIt’s lovely that we were greeted twice by two separate wait staff who were very friendly, but then it took time to get their attention to order. Food was amazing but with items the delicious Betel Leaf with Prawn, we really needed some wipes to clean sticky fingers. We did our best with napkins, but as an entree I felt sticky for the remainder of the meal. Awesome restaurant and there was a lovely American girl, should have got her name, but she was the hostess that I would like to see in my organisation, where I working on guest experience standards. I will be back!More infoHochi Mama CBDPrice: Moderate• Asian• Melbourne CBD•4.6

- AAngieTasmania •6 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024We dined here for an early dinner starting with a dozen fresh oysters & a glass of Prosecco for golden hour. It was a lovely evening so we sat out side in the court yard & had our oysters, then got escorted to our table when our entrees were ready. It was a lovely way to start the evening. Then we shared the duck liver parfait, prawns & a tomato salad. For mains we couldn’t decide so we ended up sharing the pork belly & the barramundi which were both Devine! After all this food we had to share the basque cheese cake to top off a wonderful evening.More infoCognoscenti Food & WinePrice: Expensive• Modern Australian• Belgrave•4.8
